OpenSRS cannot think that. Without their ICANN accreditation, we would not be able to register com/net/org domain names through OpenSRS. There *has* to be some protection for the registrant. I think the current policy strikes a balance between those interests that is admirable. I've said it in the past, and I'll say it again. If you want all the privileges of a registrar, become a registrar.
