I'm writing to this list because policy list seems to be 'a bit dead' :-/
and I think this may be of interest for many RSPs.

There is an unclear point on Exhibit A contract, at least unclear for me :-)

14. TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP. The person named as administrative contact at the
time the controlling user name and password are secured shall be the owner
of the domain name.[...]

It's supposed that the owner contact is the owner of a domain name, that is
why there are owner and admin information, why this tells the opposite?

Point 14 continues in this way:
[...]You agree that prior to transferring ownership of your domain name to
another person (the Transferee") you shall require the Transferee to agree,
in writing to be bound by all the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
Your domain name will not be transferred until we receive such written
assurances or other reasonable assurance that the Transferee has been bound
by the contractual terms of this Agreement (such reasonable assurance as
determined by us in our sole discretion) along with the applicable transfer fee.

Ok, new owners must agree the contract before becoming the domain owner, in
order to do this, we can't let our customers modify owner information and
before letting, new owner must send us a signed contract. For me there's no
problem with this, in fact this is what I want to do. But, must we send this
documentation to OpenSRS? has OpenSRS a fee for transfering a domain? (as we
all know the original OpenSRS client allows change of ownership by the user)

Thank you,
