Good afternoon,
Well, I am at the stage again where I have read all the details on the
latest production release of the OpenSRS client code. We are opting to stay
out of the .tv game, but are quite interested in reselling the Web Certs.
...which leads to my next point...
How much of the new client code do I need to integrate into my current setup
to be able to use the client to do the registering? Up until now, every time
I updated the code, I updated the WHOLE client from scratch. I am not about
to do this again for web certs, we will use the WRI before I do that. So, I
suppose the question is, does anyone know just what portions may be
integrated from the new code (2.32) into my current setup to make the cert
portion usable? (i.e. OpenSRS.conf; /templates/purchase_webcert.html;
reg_system.cgi; etc etc.).
...which makes me remember....
I don't know exactly what code I am currently using. But it is recent (2.xx
something) Nowhere in the code can I find any release number. Is there one
anywhere in any of the scripts?
I wonder if we could talk VPOP and OpenSRS into itemizing what needs to be
upgraded from on version to another to keep current, or is the code made to
be completely redone upon each upgrade.
