Hi Jim,

Uh, actually, it didn't make it into the roots. A different one did.

Just because your name is Jim Fleming, doesn't mean you're the *only* Jim
Fleming that lives, has lived or will live on this planet, continent or
even country.

Let me make this simple, Jim: give it up. For you to garner support from
the community here would be very difficult, if not impossible. The people
in this community are offering the *real* .biz domain. You know, the one
that the whole world will be able to see in about 3 months, because it
will be in the canonical root nameservers, not an ad hoc system put
together by some radicals.

Your .biz does not have wide-spread support, nor will it ever have
wide-spread support. It would be really good if everyone could just stop
trying to make a quick buck by spreading FUD and help further the greater
good.

And later, in an attempt to discredit a reputable and knowledgable member
of the community, Jim Fleming dribbled this:

Note the date. That was the 20th century. Many were very naive and
immature back then -- can you really blame anyone for trying? :-)#

But seriously, I hope that you can funnel your efforts towards something
constructive that will benefit the Internet community at large, rather
than scamming the less savvy to fill just a few select people's pocket
books.
