No, of course not. But who cares about the non-valuable ones? Although they constitute the vast majority of expiring domains, they aren't the cause of the problem (nor even under discussion as far as I can tell). Nobody appears to be suggesting that any change be made to the way these non-valuable domains are sold. The discussion is entirely about the valuable ones. In that context, your claim appeared to be that regular people have a reasonable chance of getting a *valuable* domain without paying a premium to a service such as SnapNames -- that is, by just going to a registrar or reseller and hoping to be first-come, first served.
