I wouldn't recommend trying to get payment using that method. You'll almost be like a fitness club if you start resorting to methods like that. Next you'll be sending Bubba over with a lead pipe to collect the payment.
This does lead into a question I've got though, regarding the Registration Agreements for each of the tlds. I'd like to add a clause that states something to the effect of: 'if payment is not received, or is received and later returned due to any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to, credit card chargebacks, NSF cheques, or stop payments, the RSP shall consider it a breach of this Agreement and the Service(s) shall be cancelled or otherwise transferred away from you.' Then if someone doesn't pay, or it's charged back, you can take control of the domain name. I keep a record of each username/password for each domain so it's easy for me to take control of it if required, without the need for Tucows to suspend it. Anyone know if this is legal, allowed, etc? On a side note, in the agreements it states that at certain times someone can request a domain be deleted, for example if they don't agree with a change in the URDP. Does Tucows actually delete domains if requested? How often does this really happen?
