Would someone mind explaining the drill for registering locality based domains under the .us TLD? I saw the announcement that OpenSRS resellers will soon be able to resell second-level .us domains, but I'm not talking about those. I found that NeuStar has been given charge of .us, so I emailed them and received some kind of automated response that had nothing to do with my question (see below). I find that I can sometimes poke around and come up with the delegated manager for a particular locality, but it doesn't always work.
http://www.pgh.pa.us Is there a published list of these managers to be found someplace? Thanks, Jim ===================================================================== Greetings- Availability of dot-US domain names at the second and third level (e.g., johnsmith.us, publicservice.us, mycompany.us, fairfax.va.us) is expected by April 2002. Please visit http://www.neustar.us in the coming weeks for more detailed information and instructions on how to register a dot-US domain name.
