Just 2 cents ;)

Right now I think 10 is reasonable. READ THE FINE PRINT! GoDaddy
charges another $9.xx to add domain forwarding! They even charge extra to
have a "Customer Service Rep" call you on the phone. We call for FREE! That
puts GoDaddy's price above what our price is on our site! We offer
masking/forwarding and other services for FREE what GoDaddy charges for in
addition to their registration fee. GoDaddy makes their ca$h from the
services such as "Domain Masking" and as that is what a good portion of the
internet users use as many use free hosting with Yahoo for example.

Not to mention, I still here numerous complaints daily in our questions
mail box that surfers write to ask with their concerns about their current
registrars services.

I have seen people asking for OpenSRS to drop their prices and I even
inquired about it at one time. If OpenSRS can cut corners to lower their
prices and still maintain or exceed their current support then I am all for
it. If we loose any backbone at SRS for cutting the costs, then please leave
them where they are.

GoDaddy's practices are just making consumers aware that when they see
$8.00 for a domain price, something is up. People spend the money for one
year, and in that year they catch on to all the catches, and then they
decide to spend their money with a OpenSRS rep. and that means money for us
;)

Okay, I'm done! Have a great Sunday!
