Hi All,
As most of you are probably
aware, My company still has a large number of domains under our
control over at Register.Com from when we used to be affiliated with them. Over the weekend they have gone in and moved all of these domains out of our management account, and changed the nameservers on all of them so that they point to the RCOM
server instead of the Planet Nic servers. Subsequently, none
of the domains resolve properly now. Does anyone know anything about the legalities in a situation like this? Can they get away with arbitrarily changing
information for domains without consent of the registrant?
