I was happily impressed with how ICANN dealt with the one thing I
"escalated". I've been wondering for months why Network Solutions
could get away with invalid email addresses and phone numbers on
their domains NETSOL.COM and NETWORKSOLUTIONS.COM (the email address
was the ubiquitous "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" and the phone number
was something like 123-123-1234).

I sent email to Dan Halloran at ICANN, asking why NetSol was able to
get away with an obvious violation of RAA Subsection 3.7.7.2. He
mailed me back the same day saying he'd take it up with the registrar,
and two days later he sent me another email informing me that the
WHOIS data had been corrected.

It was a FAR better response than I expected from ICANN.
