I think Register.com and Verisign are in some secret competition to see who can confuse their customers wishing to transfer away from them more.
Since there are a few people from Tucows and others on this list that deal w/ICANN, I'll pose this question here. If it is OT, please ignore and I will. Would it be something that ICANN could enact (or whatever they do) that would require all Registrars to have the same wording in the email notification from the losing Registrar to the registrant and on the Web page used for confirming the transfer? e.g. something that doesn't try to confuse/sell the registrant and would have room only for the replacement of the losing and gaining Registrar's names in the text and a place for a logo on the Web page. -- Chris Scott Host Orlando, Inc. http://www.hostorlando.com/
