Good morning. Yep, you both have hit on the old system. Your messages hit on a number of areas: 1- if you ever get a key code, you are using the old system- and you will only get the true business id cert. The new system has no key codes, it interacts directly with Geotrust.
2- The 2.60 client code includes the old code, and the new code has a new cgi called reg_cert.cgi. Explanation of these are found in the client code documentation: http://resellers.tucows.com/opensrs/resources/docs/srsClientDoc.pdf We will be pulling the old code in the next month or so, wanted to provide time for transition. 3- The RWI does have a link to the old system and the new system. In order to facilitate transition (and confusion it would seem) we have included links to both systems. Explanations of this can be found in the new certs documentation: http://resellers.tucows.com/opensrs/certificates/pdf/digitalcertguide.pdf Sorry that you ran into these snags, hope that will help. Mine will probably be a little more complicated than that because I actually submitted a CSR under that keycode, but have since asked both Tucows and GeoTrust to cancel that actual order. (which shouldn't be hard since GeoTrust is actually [allegedly] waiting for me to fax them confirmation documents about my non-existent business before they'll issue a cert). It's just nightmarishly broken, process-wise, and if I were actually doing this as a "business" (e.g., I actually resold domains/etc. to anyone other than friends and family) there's absolutely no way I'd market certs [from SRS] as a product if I actually wanted to keep my customers happy.
