is the cause of the DDoS attack that Verisign is experiencing.
Really, there isn't any. It takes me two seconds to get this page when I
enter a non-existent domain. Whatever people hoped that would happen it
hasn't.
Oh but there could be...
hmmmm
1. I was testing my web server bladiddyblahdidd.com by performing DoS attacks, port scanning, trying various exploits, etc... but wait... I spelled my domain wrong and ended up accidentally attacking verisigns server... OOPS.
2. I decided to spam.. So I got me a spam software that spews out millions of emails to whatever domains/emails I suggest. Oopsss.. They are all spelled wrong, or non-existent...
There are many, MANY, MaNY, mANY, many different things one could do to these guys and never be touched legally.
