After further investigation, I realized this wasn't being shuttled through the sitefinder.verisign.com system. It appears the domain, which I believe was registered at one time to Asus, is registered (ironically, through OpenSRS). Still, I can't help but wonder why anyone execpt eBay would want to shuttle traffic to eBay. Is eBay known to either purchase domains for the purpose of capturing traffic, or to pay others to do the same?
