OpenSRS stated several times in the past that they would never compete with their resellers (i.e. web hosting providers and ISPs). "OpenSRS is designed for "Internet Solution Providers" (Internet Service Providers, Web Hosting Companies, etc...) who process registrations for end users/organizations as part of their solution offering." Why would a web hosting provider use a competing hosting provider for domain registrations?
