I may be wrong, but I think you simply use the wrong sign here. I guess
you are using an apostrophe (�) here, correct? This is non-ASCII and your
system translates it to UTF-8 or whatever. I made the same mistake ten
years ago when I started with email. Use single quotation marks ('), like
in "Since Verisign's unannounced" that's the only feasible way to transmit
apostrophes in email/usenet.
