I wouldn't trust Afilias with multilinguals. They let those under .ORG suddenly die, not when they took over but months later. They promised nothing would change, only new multilinguals under .ORG were not possible. Then they pulled the plug and told nobody. When I asked questions about this, to PIR which is the responsible 'sponsor' for .ORG, it seems they were surprised too. They did not answer any further questions from me, promised me a report, but then did not send it. When I posted my concerns on a mailing list, they refused any further communications. Good luck in working with these people in multilinguals! My conclusion from experiences under .ORG tell me, that they are not interested in making it work. They just want the cash.
