Can I make a formal request for umlauts to be permitted in the API for address fields in .de domains?
Its necessary to have umlauts on place names like Munchen and Munster. German customers expect to be able to put them in and DENIC allow them, it seems to be a Tucows end problem.
Not allowing umlauts just makes us look silly.
Or maybe there is a way round this that I am not seeing?
(For those who don;t know an umlaut is the two dots you sometimes get above the letter u or o in German).
