Hi, casual users don't do that. They only need to get their work done. Forums have the tendency to cost a lot of time, whereas many of non-power users do not understand mailing lists completely. If we want to get them involved in bug reporting, everything should be as easy as next>next>next, plus the already mentioned things making users feel they're part of the community (like 'your bug was resolved', etc. notifications). Otherwise users wouldn't care, or, even worse, dump LibO.
