Hello,
from my Mozilla and OOo experience voting has very little impact on
decision what requests will be integrated. Nevertheless I believe that
some kind of "barometer of public opinion" might be useful.
But bugs.freedesktop.org hasn't voting feature active, and my experience
is that modifications are cumbersome.
So I thought about a quick solution what can be achieved with very few
work. The result is that Wiki-Page-solution, what I created within few
minutes. We will see to where that will lead.
Tor Lillqvist pointed to the fact that "our new voting page" might
pretend a too official character, in future I will call it "the voting
page".
