Just FYI, if you are using Thunderbird v.8 as a newsreader for Gmane. It
looks like Thunderbird will occasionally reset all messages to unread
making it unreliable as a newsreader. I have gone back to the mailists
temporarily until this is ironed out with Thunderbird v.8.
