You can use the Zotero citing and source management plugin for FireFox and
then
install the Zotero plugin for OpenOffice plugin which works fine for Libre
Office.
Then you can choose all the different citing styles and start working.

I have also got ENDNOTE to work in Libre Office by using their OpenOffice
plugin.
