"Search" and "search & replace" need to receive feature for advanced range defining, there need to be functionality, where you can define which characters to search, examples: "search last two characters from end" "search first character" "search fourth, fifth and sixth character from begining" I hope you get the idea, similar functionality can be seen in "Advanced Renamer" app.: http://www.advancedrenamer.com/
