Hi,
Please to announce OpenOffice 3.0 beta that has been introduced on
Cooker. It's an ahead beta version since anothers distros has done a
lot of efforts to improve and to stable it throughout Go-OO project
(ooo-build).
We are with a great hoping that it will be release as stable when
OpenOffice.org upstream will be. According upstream site it's for
September and so we have time to release it stable together Mdv 2009.0
stable one. Until there we can test it and help to improve the over wall
quality of the OOo Mandriva packages.
We've release it as contrib and we are going to change OpenOffice.org
3.0 packages to main section keeping 2.4 version out from Cooker.
However this OOo branch version will be maintained on 2008.1 as well.
Test our OOo 3.0, please.
