Fellow/a Free Culture'rs, If you're in town for Personal Democracy Forum, I hope you can attend our OpenGov Camp. - @noneck
Are you passionate about "local" Open Government? This year, Open NY Forum is teaming up the Personal Democracy Forum's annual conference to host OpenGov Camp. This will be a one day conversation on how participation builds transparency to deliver efficiency. As a community of doers and decision-makers we will have a unique opportunity to bridge our work with our global brothers and sisters to talk about what works—and what doesn't. Register and join us on Sunday, June 5 to discuss the following questions: • Where is “local” Open Government going? • How can we deepen the knowledge of what Open Government can be? • What are the social and technical tools affecting Open Government’s development? www.OpenGovNYC.org Note: You can register via www.meetup.com/OpenNY or opengovnyc.eventbrite.com Where: CUNY Graduate School of Journalism 219 West 40th Street, New York, NY 10018 Hashtag: #OpenGovCamp OpenGov is hosted in conjunction with Personal Democracy Forum (PdF) 2011 - personaldemocracy.com/pdf-2011 -, the world’s leading conference exploring and analyzing technology's impact on politics and government.
