This is a slick presentation, but I was shocked recently at how easy a lot
of these multi-tracks are to find. They're big files (usually rar archives
weighing in at over a GB) and you can get them by Googling "multitrack
masters" and the name of the song for a surprising number of tunes.

I found this out because a friend wanted a copy of the instrumental track to
Bohemian Rhapsody. I did it by dropping the vocal tracks out in Audacity
(you can check out the result here:
http://soundcloud.com/thisisparker/bohemian-rhapsody-instrumental/s-e9Nre )
but what's cooler is I now have the 24-track session files for the freaking
Bohemian Rhapsody session. It includes a lot of stuff that was cut out,
including multiple full lead vocal takes.
