Hi Ben, What I meant by that is that the wiki contains (proprietary) shareable works and also contains libre works, not that every work in the database is libre. I've changed it to 'Shareable Resources and Libre Works', which I think removes all ambiguity.
Hi Nate, Thanks for the link back and the comments. I think your tweets about the next step being aggregated metadata are probably right (or at least that this is a possible future for free culture). Unfortunately, I suspect the FOSsil Bank is a poor choice for this, because it doesn't use the same wiki language that - for example - Wikipedia does. It's also an area that I know practically nothing about. But I think it would be great to be able to plug into, for example, the Europeana and Flickr databases.
