Thanks, Aditi! Negotiations for international trade agreements are often shrouded in secrecy and they are more difficult for us to "block" than legislative bills. This is part of the reason why We The People were unable to stop ACTA.
Politicians are wising up and trying to slip one past us. We need to spark public discussion before it gets too late! Maybe we can take a page from the EU when it came to ACTA. It's an election year! Negotiation of treaties and international agreements is the responsibility of the Executive Branch. Maybe we can air out our discontents?
