I've been working on writing some anti-propaganda material to smash the
familiar argument:/"How will anything be created without copyright!?" /
Propaganda is teaching you things that are obviously wrong or that are
harmful to you.
The more *pressing *question to ask really is... /"How can anything
even NOT be created without copyright?"/ These people who are
writers, illustrators, film makers, comic artists, they actually
rather die(exaggerated) than be removed from their chosen form of
expression. They HAVE to express themselves. They actually consider
it their _calling_ that they make their ideas known. And they will
do this for the rest of their lives no-matter-the-costs.(here be

Quickly I figured, a good argument is to draw from the successes of free
software and/(some)/ open source.
What has Free Software done for humanity or Why it was crucial to the
forming of the internet? I only know that it's really important, but I
don't actually know why.
So far I've only got web server survey from Netcraft

working through some of these articles

on wikipedia. ive read a lot of work on Richard Stallman's GNU website.
I'd love to know, any other good info on free software /(e.g. how do ppl
actually get paid developing in free software or open source?) /
