Fantastic! Thanks for putting so much into this lately Jennifer, it's
really appreciated.

Is there a specific theme that we want to tackle at the conference?
Fundamentally, *what is the purpose of this gathering?

*It seems like often times, when we go to these events we spend all of our
unconference time talking about this rather than actually getting things
done. If we could decide this beforehand and then actually work on specific
problems in person, I think that would be a lot more productive for
everybody.*
 *
As I've expressed before, my desire is to see the organization become *
service-based* - as it stands, we are little more than an online brochure
and an emailing list. What can we do to make free culture more accessible
to ordinary students? Can we highlight exemplary Free Cultural works? Can
we provide tools to get others to contribute to commons? Etc.
*
*Probably the best thing I've gotten out of the entire Students for Free
Culture organization is the network of friends I have made from it, and I
wonder if there's a way that we can further enhance the social aspect of
these events. Perhaps this could be the entire basis of our organization's
service even.
