I am currently working on finalizing the panel and lightning debate topic
descriptions, and will send around drafts once I'm done. Katie Baxter, who
is the co-president of the NYLS Chapter has been helping me a bunch with
organizing the conference, so here's a shout out to her: thank you! We're
working on securing a venue for the after party. As always, I welcome any
feedback/comments/suggestions, so just voice them!

On a separate, but related note, the website is up, but currently under
construction on the backend. We're drafting up a new Wordpress template and
changing the look of our home page. The main difference (at least on the
homepage) will be a slide show of images to put some face behind the
organization. If anyone has pictures from previous conferences, campus
events, or other free culture-related events, please send them my way!

Thanks all. Stay tuned for my next update.

Cheers,
Jennifer
