I'm not sure if you saw my replies on IRC a while back, but as far as the Mailman upgrade woes you mentioned a while back go, there actually is an upgrade path available in 3.0 without having to wait for 3.1. You can migrate data through an included script called Import21: https://pythonhosted.org/mailman/src/mailman/commands/docs/import.html
