Very nice, Klaus. I plan to use this extensively. Using FF 1.5.0.6 and IE 6.0, I've been able to botch the tabs with what looks like Effects problems.
By quickly clicking multiple tabs that use transition effects, I've managed to display more than one tab contents, show no tab contents, and show the incorrect tab contents while locking the tabs. Again, all quirks seem to only occur on the examples that use effects, so I suspect it is a reentry issue with the Effects library. When the first quirk occurs (seen in FF), selecting another tab causes the selected tab to display twice, but allows the tabs to be used again. When the second quirk occurs (seen in FF and IE), the tabs didn't seem to function anymore. When this occurred in IE, the browser seemed to go into a loop where something was displayed again and again, causing the browser's scroll window to repeatedly jump. It was going fast enough that I couldn't see what was happening, but finally stopped in this no-content state when I manually moved the browser's scrollbar. When the third quirk occurred (in IE), the tabs didn't function anymore. The image shows that is was similar to the first state.
