The latest in SVN has all the hardcoded $ aliases for jQuery removed. This makes it easy to change the alias for jQuery to something like $j or whatever. jQuery will see that the $ is already in use and by default will take over it and store the original $ in a new var _$. Changing the alias for jQuery is the easiest/fastest way to get the two libraries to play well together.
