Sorry? I know how you feel but the reality is that this is a "huge
issue" for YOU and not everyone else.

Probably you are. Not to be rude of course but that's usually the case
with everyone when something is going wrong and they don't know why.
Sometimes people expose bugs but usually they're just doing something
wrong.

I'm not a jQuery expert either so, although your code looks fine to me,
I would suggest you break your page down to a very basic example and
slowly build it back up until it breaks again.

It would be really helpful if you could post a link to the page you're
having trouble with. Often times people on the list will immediately see
things you're ignoring.

Lastly, do either of the problems you describe occur in other browsers
or just IE 6?
