That's a very fair point, Jörn. And it is true about php.net's examples.
I'll start improving the documentation once I understand jQuery a little
more, I've only been working with it for less than a month, and only as my
work demands it.

I'll also aim to answer questions, if I can, even if my answers aren't
complete, in the hope that more experienced users can add more in depth
detail, or correct me if I'm wrong.

The current wiki based API documentation allows everyone to register and
activley improve the documentation.

The problem with php.net's documentation is the lack of quality and
examples and the start of each function. Too often, you have to crawl to
(sometimes years old) comments to find what you are looking for.

So instead of just commenting, help by improving the documentation itself.
