Pretty neat - I'm going to use this ; ). Now having it in the FF status
bar would be even better, but I guess that would require an extension to
be written, or not?

I have set up a easy but useful greasemonkey script, which adds a small
jquery icon in the bottom right corner if jQuery is found.
