I didn't mean to be insulting when I said it was 'weak' - I'm sure it is technically solid. But it lacks common functionality that I would expect, such as getting the default value of a control, checking to see if a control or a form has been modified, manipulating select box options, setting form field values, returning an array of values from fieldValue(), etc. It seems targeted mostly at making forms ajaxy, which is great, but I was looking for a more general set of robust form tools on which other functionality can be layered.
