I don't know mySpace - can you use embedded CSS so you don't need the  
@import? If you can insert HTML (sounds like you can) then could you  
insert this:

<style type="text/css">

        .myClass {
                font-family: verdana, sans-serif;
                font-size: 12px;        
        }
        
</style>
