Tim was referring to idle micro accounting that I am playing with. I don't have a clean enough solution and hence I have not posted it on lkml yet. The idea of micro accounting idle is to use a fine granular idle-busy time in ondemand governor instead of coarse jiffy based one that we use now. Tim did see improvements with this on SPECpower. But, patch is not out there yet. It will be few more weeks before that.
