Hi,

in the last day or so I've done various updates to PowerTOP in the subversion
repository
(finally I had some time to do it right).

I'd like to thank the various people who contributed the code for this for
their contribution
and for their patience..

What is there in SVN right now that's not in the release:
* The C-state information is now read from sysfs
   (Kevin Hilman and Venki Pallipadi)
   - This gives better information, specifically C1 is now counted right
* USB suspend statistics (how well USB devices are power saving)
is now shown in -d mode, and as a hint during interactive use
* The sysfs power supply class (new in 2.6.25) is now used
   (Donnie Berkholz)
* Various USB suspend bugfixes have been done
(it now actually works again, it broke for 2.6.24 at lease)
* Wireless powersaving for Intel's 4965 and 3945 WIFI drivers is now added
* On new enough CPUs, and the 2.6.25 kernel, Powertop will now
   1) show actual C-state numbers rather than the ACPI translation
   2) show at startup which C-states the bios and the cpu support

I'll be poking at this some more in the next day or two, and I hope to be able
to make
a full new release near the end of next week.

Note to translators: Several strings got added, but I suspect a few more will
change before
the release; I'll send out a separate email when I think the strings are frozen
and then
wait a few days before making the release.
