Greetings,

I am using a ThinkPad T61(T7500 CPU and NVS 140M Graphic Card), and
Ubuntu Linux with kernel version 2.6.24. Here is my powertop. I notice
that kernel_IPI takes a huge amount of wakeups. I have tried several
methods in Google, such as hpet=force kernel parameter and echo 1 >
/sys/devices/system/cpu/sched_mc_power_savings
in rc.local, but none of them works. 2.6.22 kernel does not have the
problem.

Any suggestions or comments?

Thanks,
shadowkernel
