I use multiseat workstations[1] - one PC with several video cards, mice, 
keyboards connected and multiple users working.

Currently (well, I used version 1.10), powertop does not show PIDs or 
UIDs associated with a given process, so it's not easy to tell which 
user consumes more energy (when different users run processes with the 
same name).

Is such a feature planned in powertop (showing UIDs / PIDs somewhere 
next to the process)? If there is such a feature already, I didn't see a 
way to enable it.


It would be also interesting to be able to "freeze" all processes (and 
possible, devices) associated with a given X server, for example when 
the screensaver fires up.
