I used today's git tree and this part is OK.

Now powertop tells me:

Suggestion: Disable or remove 'pcscd' from your system.
pcscd tends to keep the USB subsystem out of power save mode
and your processor out of deeper powersave states.
 Q - Quit   R - Refresh   K - kill pcscd 


although I've already told it to kill pcscd & it's not running...
this is annoying.
What does it want?  rm /usr/sbin/pcscd ?
