Hi, I am using powertop to verify the power management code in battery operated device.
Here are the sample results Total wakeups 15474, 128.9/s | IRQ 10627, 88.6/s | Timers 4847, 40.4/s HW wakeups 20, 0.2/s | Real gp_timers expired 15, 0.1/s I would like to plot a graph to see trend of power management code which is the real parameter to consider in above ? is it "Total wakeups" (128.9/s) ? or "HW wakeups " (0.2/s) ? which is the real number telling how many times CPU came out of sleep during measurement? and why? I would appreciate if somebody clearly explain about all paramters in the above sample results.
