Hi Stuart, Copying open office into extern folder , still we are facing the same issue and here nothing to do (i.e)make and make install say nothing to do ... I have doubt here that ,we need to install open office in the system

The 'cannot stat' error simply means that the filename was wrong or invalid. You may need to supply (by yourself) the OpenOffice installer that the README instructs you to copy into that 'extern' directory. Remember that Linux filesystems are case-sensitive, pressing the Tab key while typing the file-name can confirm if a file exists. Hope this helps, Stuart.
