Doing a diff found this: idProduct 0x7523 CH340 serial converter - bcdDevice 81.34 + bcdDevice 2.63 iManufacturer 0 - MaxPower 104mA + MaxPower 98mA Yes, of course, you could visually inspect and find some arcane difference between two devices, but that isn't the point.
