If that doesn't work out, you can also give ttycast [1] a try. I haven't
used it recently, but it worked well enough back in 2013. A big thanks to
Aleksandra Pawlik for capturing that detail from our time teaching together
at University of Oklahoma - I remember using something, but she wrote up
the blog post and included that detail in it [2]. The advantage of ttycast
is that it doesn't even require external network, it's a node codebase that
I ran directly on my machine, and students were able to access my broadcast
via my local IP address.
