We can let the lessons be auto-aggregated for us, like on https://github.com/topics/carpentry-lesson Lesson maintainers only need to add GitHub Topics (esp. “carpentry-lesson”) to their repos, see on https://github.com/carpentries/lesson-infrastructure/issues/8#issuecomment-400786844. I found it effective to create issues about that, see https://github.com/search?q=is%3Aissue+author%3Akatrinleinweber+is%3Aclosed+%22github+topic%22 That way, we will not need to mainain any Markdown-based lists.
