I have offered several platforms in the past. The number of machines
available have decreased, due to putting some back into production. I can
probably dedicate 2x v120's and 2x V100's. I may even be able to provide
shared access to a [dual-cpu] v240, with 1.5TB mirrored disk space (with
SSD for L2ARC.)

I need my V240 to run SunRay's and various commercial packages. My
long-term goal is for the v240 could host a non-Sun Solaris (i.e. SVR4
distro of Illumos origin) hosting various commercial software packages on
this platform. If this can not be done, the V240 would need to continue to
host Sun Solaris 10 Update 8 (at the latest.) I would be OK with hosting
various external users on this platform.

I can host the 4x power efficient systems I am willing to provide (i.e.
v1x0) for no cost, indefinitely (barring death, dismemberment, acts-of-God,
etc.) I can agree to supply a UPS on the network access as well as on the
power supply of the units. Access would be via a 15Mbit (D/L) and 1Mbit
(U/L) ADSL line.

If an IPSec VPN is desired, we may be able to set this up for
these platforms, to make them an virtual extension of another existing
datacenter. I have a low-end VPN concentrator, which can be leveraged.

I normally use a couple of Intel laptops running Solaris (first release,
since it support 128K RAM) with OpenWindows and "tip" for accessing the
serial consoles on the servers. With some assistance, we may be able to set
up the LOM with tcp/ip on the v1x0's. These may make good test-boxes to
perform "net boot" from.

I offer to consider shiping one or two v100's or v120's to another
location, depending on the cost/destination (i.e. servers are in North
America - Indonesia may cost too much to ship to.)

I can agree to provide part-time human resources for the basic system. I
can probably turn up Solaris Calendar Manager ("cm") for group GUI
calendaring.

Some of us are more interested for an Intel emulator on SPARC, since SPARC
is where the commercial software is at.

I may be able to offer to host a 2x PowerPC G5 2.5GHz, if there is anyone
interested in PowerPC port of OpenSolaris/Illumos based system.
